What we store

Your results, streak and in-progress answers are saved in your own browser (local storage). We do not require an account and do not ask for your name or email.

When you submit an answer, our server receives the prompt, the text you typed and the date. We keep a count of how often each answer is given so we can show what other divers said. Answers are not linked to you. To stop one person from skewing the counts, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address together with the prompt and date; it cannot be turned back into an address.

Answers that our answer sheet does not contain are sent to an AI referee service to check whether they are valid. Only the prompt and your answer text are sent.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which parts of the game people use (for example, how many dives are started and finished). Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device details. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can block it with a browser extension or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

If we add advertising, this page will be updated and any required consent choices will be shown.
